What You'll Do10
- 1Patrol assigned properties to deter security threats and ensure safety
- 2Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment
- 3Control access by verifying identification and authorizing entry
- 4Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance
- 5Prepare accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports
- 6Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
- 7De-escalate conflicts and maintain order using sound judgment
- 8Inspect for safety hazards and enforce client procedures
- 9Provide professional customer service and maintain a professional presence
- 10Enter data in computer systems and maintain logs and records
Requirements10
- 1Current state security guard license where applicable
- 2High school diploma or GED
- 3Valid driver’s license if required for post
- 4Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- 5Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 6Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
- 7Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- 8Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- 9Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- 10CPR or First Aid certifications preferred
