Overview

What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain supplier quality processes and systems to meet customer and internal standards
- 2Audit, evaluate, and improve supplier and internal site quality systems and processes
- 3Drive root cause analysis and containment actions for quality issues at the supplier and plant levels
- 4Collaborate with suppliers to implement quality improvements and training using Tokai Rika materials
- 5Submit audit reports to senior management and translate expectations to suppliers to avoid critical defects
- 6Develop and implement sampling and testing procedures to meet quality standards
- 7Coordinate with plant teams during customer claim investigations and provide technical guidance to suppliers
- 8Support warranty claims investigations and implement corrective actions on the gemba
- 9Collect and analyze quality data and prepare presentations for internal and external audiences
- 10Assist in modifications to processes, specifications, and inspection procedures to ensure ongoing compliance
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field
- 27+ years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role
- 3Willingness to work at internal manufacturing sites and supplier plants
- 4Willingness to travel daily and flexibility to travel to various locations
- 5Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight
