What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead daily tier board meetings to review safety, quality, production, and cost metrics.
  • 2Coach team members on performance, providing feedback to meet or exceed delivery goals.
  • 3Implement manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and reduce costs in Assembly and Laser operations.
  • 4Manage project timelines for both sustaining and launch phases, hitting deadlines set by the organization.
  • 5Drive quality initiatives to minimize scrap, rejects, and non-conformances, especially in laser processes.
  • 6Develop plans to maximize asset utilization, reducing downtime and optimizing worker assignments.
  • 7Coordinate with Facilities for preventive maintenance scheduling to keep laser equipment running.
  • 8Execute production schedules for high-volume components, adjusting as needed to meet output targets.
  • 9Perform time studies and provide accurate estimates for work orders, using statistical analysis.
  • 10Troubleshoot programming for new projects from customer drawings, working with CAD and CNC codes.

Requirements10

  • 110+ years manufacturing experience in a highly regulated industry, including medical devices.
  • 25+ years in leadership roles, with experience training, developing, and motivating employees.
  • 35+ years leading change in a manufacturing environment, implementing process improvements.
  • 4Hands-on experience machining steel, titanium, plastics, and polymers.
  • 5Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products for reporting and scheduling.
  • 6Strong problem-solving skills, especially in production bottleneck resolution.
  • 7Statistical knowledge applied to process and product improvement, using SPC and Six Sigma.
  • 8Solid understanding of manufacturing principles, including process flow and material handling.
  • 9Project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • 10High School Diploma required; additional technical certifications a plus.
