What You'll Do11
- 1Practice at a level of competent to proficient practitioner of nursing
- 2Demonstrate competence in caring for patients with complex problems
- 3Comply with administrative policies and clinical protocols
- 4Provide care during clinic visits and interact with patients and families
- 5Coordinate follow-up appointments and manage care for complex patients
- 6Triage phone calls related to non-urgent clinical questions
- 7Lead multidisciplinary collaboration and serve as a preceptor for new employees
- 8Follow the Nursing Process to deliver safe care
- 9Anticipate patient responses and communicate changes to physicians and families
- 10Document outcomes using current hospital standards and procedures
- 11Manage care for complex patients and delegate tasks appropriately
Requirements6
- 1Three (3) years pediatric experience
- 2Basic use of patient facing technology such as IV pumps and point of care devices
- 3Registered Nursing License or active Temporary Practice Permit in Pennsylvania or New Jersey
- 4BLS Certification with hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification
- 5Active membership in a professional nursing organization
- 6Nursing diploma required
