Studio Coordinator - Smashbox Studios Brooklyn
Overview
Smashbox Studios seeks a front-of-house representative who delivers 5-star experiences for discerning clients and high-profile talent. The ideal candidate is positive efficient well-presented and ready to engage professionally. This role requires flexibility with intermittent early mornings late nights and weekends. It involves managing bookings handling admin and client communications preparing cafe orders and collecting online content. The position supports studio operations and fosters client relationships. This is an onsite full-time role in Brooklyn with opportunities to collaborate across departments and contribute to social media strategy.
What You'll Do13
- 1Manage front of house including reception lobby and cafe areas
- 2Manage studio floor staff including part time and freelance staff
- 3Greet clients and guests sign in messengers and direct calls
- 4Prepare cafe orders and provide amenity items
- 5Order and maintain cafe supplies and studio amenities tracking expenses
- 6Maintain high level of presentation in studio lobby and cafe area
- 7Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure optimal client experience
- 8Keep larger staff informed of logistical details pertinent to studio activity
- 9Engage all members of the client team including producers photographers agents stylists and develop ongoing working relationships
- 10Track and collect online client content collaborate on social media posting and online engagement
- 11Assist the studio booking process including contract negotiations as delegated by the Bookings Director
- 12Field questions and concerns from clients and relay information updates from the Booking department
- 13Assist on other administrative projects and assignments as needed
Requirements7
- 1Customer Service experience
- 2Barista and/or cafe experience
- 3High standards of courtesy and efficiency
- 4Professionalism and grace in all interactions
- 5Developed communication skills
- 6Acute awareness of presentation and detail
- 7Knowledge of Social Planning DAM software and/or Instagram metrics is a plus
Salary Insight
$35 - $37k per year
