Store Shift Supervisor

What You'll Do7
- 1Partner with store team leaders to learn and reinforce PSP standards and daily management routines that make your store the favorite pet store in the neighborhood.
- 2Provide leadership coverage and cover management functions up to four times a week when team leaders are offsite.
- 3Adhere to operational policies and procedures such as cleanliness animal care safety and security to ensure exceptional service is provided to our neighbors.
- 4Learn and perform back office procedures like making signs updating price changes and imputing cashier records to comply with standards and expectations.
- 5Participate in store recruiting onboarding and team member development.
- 6Communicate opportunities to improve community engagement or store performance to the team leaders.
- 7Act as store team members when they’re not acting as the manager-on-duty or learning operational tasks.
Requirements9
- 1A high school diploma or GED.
- 22+ years of retail experience.
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- 4Strong sales and customer service skills are a must.
- 5Ability to operate all equipment including a forklift to run the store.
- 6Ability to climb ladders bend kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 7Reliable transportation.
- 8Pass drug screening where allowed by law.
- 9Be 18 years or older.
Salary Insight
$18 - $19k per year
