Overview
Corvant seeks a Startup Technician to lead commissioning of HVAC systems in Atlanta. This fast growing platform values operational excellence and technical expertise. What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in startup of HVAC systems and equipment under supervision
- 2Perform basic system checks and verify performance meets specifications
- 3Review project scope and startup documentation to understand assigned tasks
- 4Support control systems setup and equipment testing
- 5Document startup activities and maintain project logs and photos
- 6Communicate material needs or delays to the Startup Supervisor immediately
- 7Complete daily startup sheets checklists and work orders in Vista
- 8Follow standardized startup procedures for consistency and safety
- 9Provide feedback for process improvement initiatives
- 10Maintain professional communication with project managers and field leadership
- 11Collaborate with customers to ensure quality workmanship
Requirements11
- 1High School diploma or equivalent required
- 22–4 years HVAC experience (commercial preferred)
- 3EPA Universal or Type II certification required
- 4Valid driver’s license with clean record
- 5Technical or trade school certificate preferred
- 6Experience with VRF systems or rooftop units a plus
- 7Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- 8Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- 9Willingness to learn control systems and assist with wiring
- 10Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 11Physical ability to stand walk sit talk and use hands
