Overview
As a Senior Service Specialist, you own the full order fulfillment cycle for customers and tradespeople in a fast-moving branch environment. You will drive gross margin by managing pay and bill rates, while ensuring operational compliance with SOPs. You'll work closely with the Assistant Manager to analyze experience data and improve retention. This role stands out for its focus on coaching tradespeople on safety and building engagement through SalesForce and Microsoft Office tools.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive gross margin by managing pay and bill rates across all orders.
- 2Fill customer requests same-day or within agreed SLA, using JobStack and internal systems.
- 3Resolve customer and tradesperson complaints on first contact, documenting in SalesForce.
- 4Coach tradespeople on safety procedures, reinforcing OSHA 10 standards.
- 5Analyze customer and tradesperson experience data with the Assistant Manager to boost retention.
- 6Keep all contact records current in SalesForce, including tradespeople and customer details.
- 7Build tradesperson engagement through weekly phone, text, and email check-ins.
- 8Penetrate customer accounts with skill marketing calls (SMA) and quality assurance calls (QAP).
- 9Run QAP, order fulfillment, payroll, and maintain I-9/E-Verify files with accuracy.
- 10Partner with recruiters to grow the tradesperson pool in local markets.
Requirements10
- 12+ years in customer service, recruiting, or inside sales, preferably in construction.
- 2High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3Proven ability to make quick decisions and solve problems under pressure.
- 4Excellent time management with track record of meeting deadlines.
- 5Strong attention to detail, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 6Clear written and verbal communication with active listening skills.
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- 8Experience with SalesForce is a strong plus.
- 9OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- 10Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus.
