Sr. Global Supply Chain Manager, AWS Infrastructure
Overview
You own the end-to-end global supply chain for AWS data center Power & Cooling equipment, ensuring unconstrained supply at massive scale. You'll work with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to drive strategic initiatives. You'll develop supplier capacity models, manage supplier performance, and lead negotiations. This role stands out by directly shaping the industry through value engineering and NPI partnerships.
What You'll Do9
- 1Develop and implement global supply chain strategies for Power & Cooling equipment, ensuring continuity of supply for AWS data center builds.
- 2De-risk supply chain constraints through sustainable long-term strategies, including supplier capacity modeling and demand signal analysis.
- 3Drive execution of large cross-functional projects, aligning engineering, procurement, and operations teams toward common goals.
- 4Manage supplier lead times and performance, allocating material based on priority to meet AWS business requirements.
- 5Partner with engineering teams to drive NPI initiatives and value-engineering projects that reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- 6Create analytical reports for stakeholders that support data-driven decisions on supply and demand.
- 7Lead executive-level negotiations with suppliers, establishing commercial terms that balance cost, flexibility, and scalability.
- 8Act as the subject matter expert for your category, staying ahead of technology trends and market dynamics.
- 9Influence industry practices by driving innovation through the supply chain, introducing new processes and technologies.
Requirements6
- 16+ years of related industry experience, with a bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
- 24+ years experience in electrical, mechanical, infrastructure, or data center construction industries.
- 36+ years experience in supplier performance management, with direct ownership of executive-level negotiations.
- 46+ years experience in commercial and contract negotiation.
- 56+ years of end-to-end supply chain management, with emphasis on flexibility and scalability.
- 6Direct experience in back-up/prime power generation equipment procurement is preferred.

$148 - $200k per year
