Sr Cloud Security Engineer, Multi-Cloud (Azure AWS GCP)
Overview
You will lead cloud security engineering across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI, owning the security posture for multi-cloud workloads. You will secure cloud identities, automate with Terraform and scripting, and integrate AI/LLMs to sharpen threat detection and response. Your team is the cloud security practice for MetaSense, Inc., working on-site in Florida at a $60/hr contract rate. This role stands out because you will drive zero trust and SaaS security as the cloud security SME.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead cloud security engineering initiatives across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI, owning identity and workload protections.
- 2Secure cloud identities and workloads by implementing Zero Trust architecture and SaaS security controls from day one.
- 3Build and automate security infrastructure using Terraform and Python or other scripting languages to enforce policies.
- 4Enhance threat detection and response for cloud environments, tuning SIEM and CSPM tools to cut alert noise.
- 5Integrate AI/LLM solutions into SecOps workflows to automate threat triage and incident response.
- 6Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
- 7Own cloud security audits and compliance checks, delivering actionable findings to stakeholders within 30 days.
- 8Design and deploy cloud-native security tooling, including CASB, CWPP, and KMS, to protect data and workloads.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in cloud security engineering with hands-on Azure, AWS, and GCP experience (OCI a plus).
- 23+ years using Terraform for IaC and security automation, plus proficiency in Python or Bash.
- 3Deep expertise in Zero Trust frameworks and identity management (IAM, SSO, MFA).
- 4Experience with SaaS security and cloud-native tools like CSPM, CWPP, and CASB.
- 5Strong background in threat detection and response, including SIEM integration and incident response.
- 6Knowledge of AI/LLM applications in security operations for automation and analytics.
- 7Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- 8Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive security initiatives across teams.
