Soliant Chicago offers a contract opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist in Des Plaines. What You'll Do6
- 1Provide individualized and group therapy for Pre-K students with diverse communication needs
- 2Develop and implement IEP speech and language goals
- 3Collaborate with teachers paraprofessionals and parents to support student success
- 4Complete accurate documentation including progress notes and evaluation reports
- 5Serve as an active team member contributing expertise during staff meetings and classroom consultations
- 6Flexibly travel between two building sites to reach all assigned students
Requirements5
- 1ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- 2Previous experience working with Pre-K or early childhood populations
- 3Knowledge of and ability to support students using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
- 4Proficiency in conducting speech-language assessments and collaborating on comprehensive evaluations
- 5Strong teamwork skills and attendance required on Tuesday meeting days
