Speech Language Pathologist Contract Elementary Autism Support
Overview
Seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy for 30-40 elementary students in grades K-4. You will develop IEP goals collaborate with educators and manage speech-only cases. This role offers flexibility within a supportive school environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-4 students
- 2Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on assessment data
- 3Complete comprehensive evaluations and standardized testing
- 4Develop individualized education programs and specially designed instruction
- 5Collaborate with teachers and staff to support communication needs
- 6Provide occasional case management for students with speech-only IEPs
- 7Conduct progress monitoring and adjust therapeutic approaches
- 8Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders
Requirements5
- 1Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence
- 2School-based SLP experience preferred
- 3Proven ability to work with elementary-aged students and autism populations
- 4Strong skills in progress monitoring and IEP development
- 5Experience with AAC device implementation and implementation
