Overview

Own direct instruction for a mild to moderate student population in grades 4 through 6 in El Cajon, CA. You will implement IEPs, track progress, and collaborate with general education teachers and families. California Mild/Moderate Credential required. This part-time contract role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 11:44am, and pays $40-$55/hour with weekly pay and medical, dental, vision, life, 401k benefits. What You'll Do6

  • 1Design and deliver small group and one-on-one instruction aligned to each student's IEP goals in grades 4-6.
  • 2Implement and monitor IEP accommodations and modifications, adjusting strategies based on student response.
  • 3Document student progress daily and maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
  • 4Lead IEP meetings and communicate progress with parents and multidisciplinary teams.
  • 5Collaborate with general education teachers to foster an inclusive classroom environment and support student access to core curriculum.
  • 6Build a positive, structured learning atmosphere that promotes student independence and engagement.

  • 1Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required.
  • 21+ years experience working with students in grades 4-6 preferred.
