Overview

You will own the design and delivery of individualized education programs (IEPs) for a diverse K-12 caseload. You work with a supportive team of specialists and general educators, delivering instruction in resource rooms and classrooms. This role uses evidence-based practices to help each student reach their potential, with mentorship from a Clinical Advisory Team. You will advocate for students and ensure compliance with legal standards, making a direct impact on their growth.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and needs within the first 90 days.
  • 2Deliver instruction in resource rooms and classrooms, adapting to student needs.
  • 3Monitor student progress and document outcomes per district and state guidelines.
  • 4Collaborate with general education staff, families, and specialists to support student goals.
  • 5Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
  • 6Use evidence-based practices and modify curriculum as needed.
  • 7Advocate for students and ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

Requirements5

  • 1Current Massachusetts SPED License required.
  • 2Previous experience with K-12 caseloads preferred.
