What You'll Do10
- 1Build and enforce IEPs and 504 plans to guide individualized instruction
- 2Collaborate with Exceptional Student Services and General Education teams to provide targeted supports
- 3Communicate with students and parents weekly via phone, email, and virtual sessions
- 4Participate in professional development and departmental meetings to stay aligned with state and federal requirements
- 5Assist the Student Study Team in evaluating and monitoring student progress
- 6Perform 45-day screenings and other compliance duties as required
- 7Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services provided
- 8Provide accommodations and modifications defined in students’ plans
- 9Support students’ social and emotional needs within the learning environment
- 10Ensure in-person instruction in Arizona meets all regulatory standards
Requirements5
- 1Current valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and photocopies
- 2Arizona Teacher Certification in Special Education
- 3Special Education teaching experience at the secondary level
- 4Minimum of 2 years of verified full-time teaching experience in Special Education
- 5In-person teaching eligibility in Arizona
