What You'll Do6
- 1Implement the Affective Needs program for a dedicated caseload at Leroy Elementary, ensuring each student's academic and behavioral progress.
- 2Create, modify, and implement IEP goals aligned with each student's strengths and challenges, updating them as needed.
- 3Collaborate with school staff to develop and deliver targeted interventions and supports for students with affective needs.
- 4Document student progress and classroom activities in compliance with state and district requirements.
- 5Participate in school meetings and team discussions to advocate for holistic student support.

Requirements6
- 1Active Colorado Teacher License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement (Ages 5-21).
- 23+ years experience developing and implementing IEPs for students with affective needs.
- 3Proven ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families.
- 4Skilled at adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and promote social-emotional growth.
- 5Experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
