Overview

You will own the line at Country Place, a high volume restaurant and tavern in Perkasie, PA. You will partner with the kitchen manager to run a team of cooks, hitting $60-$65k/year. You will master our recipes, keep the kitchen spotless, and grow with a stable team. This role is for a chef who thrives on pressure and wants a steady full-time schedule.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Lead the line with the kitchen manager, directing a team of cooks to hit every ticket during peak service.
  • 2Prep basic components of every dish from scratch, using our proven recipes and portion controls.
  • 3Memorize portion sizes and basic meal prep procedures, then apply them consistently during every shift.
  • 4Inspect the kitchen, food prep areas, and storage daily, fixing any cleanliness gaps before they become problems.
  • 5Coordinate with the team to prep portions for other shifts, keeping the line stocked and ready.
  • 6Check product freshness and rotate old product based on the restaurant's schedule, reducing waste.
  • 7Support the kitchen manager with staff management, from scheduling to coaching on the fly.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years working all stations on the line in a high volume kitchen.
  • 28+ hours of standing and moving daily, with full dexterity to handle hot pans and sharp tools.
  • 3High level of professionalism in stressful service moments, staying calm and clear.
  • 4Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during rush periods.
  • 5Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • 6Excellent verbal communication and organization skills for coordinating with cooks and managers.
  • 7Full-time availability for day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
