Overview
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase, you will own impactful development work for the Wealth Management Onboarding Technology team, delivering secure, scalable products that power client onboarding. You will build solutions using Java, Python, and AWS, pushing forward pioneering features backed by Agentic and Gen AI frameworks. Collaborating in an agile environment, you will own design, code, and architecture across complex systems. This role stands out because you will work directly with cutting-edge Gen AI frameworks, shaping how the firm leverages AI for business outcomes.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design and build secure, high-quality production code using Java or Python, ensuring algorithms run reliably with our systems.
- 2Ship enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to accelerate development, then validate outputs through peer reviews and automated testing.
- 3Own the lifecycle of a feature from code to production, using CI/CD practices to maintain stability at scale.
- 4Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, making sure design constraints drive code quality.
- 5Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
- 6Debug and resolve production issues in a large corporate environment, focusing on application resiliency.
- 7Collaborate on agile teams to deliver trusted, market-leading technology products.
Requirements7
- 1Formal training or certification on software engineering and 3+ years applied experience.
- 2Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- 3Proficiency in Java or Python for building and debugging code in a large corporate environment.
- 4Exposure to AWS including relational and non-relational databases.
- 5Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools in the workplace.
- 6Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security.
- 7Solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies like CI/CD and application resiliency.
Salary Insight
$133 - $185k per year
