What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- 2Debug existing software and correct defects
- 3Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- 4Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- 5Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- 6Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
- 7Write or review software and system documentation
- 8Serve as team lead at appropriate level
- 9Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
- 10Develop or implement algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards
- 11Modify existing software to correct errors or improve performance
Requirements5
- 1PRIVAC clearance within 7 years
- 2TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph
- 3Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in similar programs and contracts
- 4Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree
