Overview
Own the design of scalable, secure Snowflake Data Cloud solutions at scale for a contract engagement in Austin TX 5 days onsite. Lead data platform engineering efforts with deep hands on Snowflake expertise and modern tooling. Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to deliver cost optimized architectures that leverage Snowpark Dynamic Tables Streams Tasks and Cortex AI and related tooling. This role stands out by combining advanced Snowflake capabilities with data modeling methodologies Kimball and Data Vault 2.0 and by driving enterprise grade solutions end to end.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build end to end Snowflake Data Cloud solutions that scale securely and cost effectively
- 2Design enterprise data models using Kimball and Data Vault 2.0 and implement them in Snowflake
- 3Lead Snowpark development including Dynamic Tables Streams & Tasks and Snowpark Container Services
- 4Implement Cortex AI Cortex Code Cortex Cortex Search and related tooling for operational insights
- 5Collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams to deliver robust data pipelines using dbt
- 6Ship operational data models and automation for data wrangling and governance
- 7Optimize Snowflake performance and cost management across large datasets
- 8Drive integration with Cortex AI and Streamlit interfaces for analytics applications
Requirements6
- 110+ years in data/platform engineering
- 216+ years of hands on Snowflake architecture
- 3Expert in Snowpark Dynamic Tables Streams & Tasks Snowpark Container Services
- 4Proficiency with dbt SQL Python
- 5Experience with Kimball and Data Vault 2.0 modeling
- 6Strong knowledge of Snowflake CoCo Cortex Code Cortex AI Cortex Search and Streamlit
