Sneaker Design Instructor Opportunities
Overview
Independent instructional contractor role for K–12 sneaker design enrichment. Contractors plan and facilitate age-appropriate design sessions, introduce footwear design concepts, adapt activities to student needs, support creative projects, maintain safe inclusive environments, and follow site procedures. This is a potential independent contractor assignment, not an employee position.
What You'll Do8
- 1Plan and facilitate engaging sneaker design sessions tailored to elementary middle and high school students
- 2Introduce footwear design creativity branding and product design through hands-on projects
- 3Adapt activities based on student experience materials and program objectives
- 4Support students in developing original sneaker concepts sketches branding ideas presentations
- 5Maintain safe respectful inclusive age-appropriate learning environment
- 6Communicate assignment-related needs or concerns with Concorde and school staff
- 7Complete session completion forms after each scheduled session
- 8Follow all site safety visitor classroom emergency and student-protection procedures
Requirements6
- 1At least 60 college credits where required by assignment or site
- 2Experience in sneaker footwear fashion design graphic design product design illustration visual arts merchandising marketing
- 3Prior experience teaching tutoring coaching mentoring leading activities with school-age students
- 4Strong communication organization and classroom facilitation skills
- 5Availability to provide services for accepted schedule and communicate issues promptly
- 6Ability to inspire creativity while guiding structured design activities
