SME Data Architect
Overview
Senior Data Architect leading data strategy and governance at CACI. Design secure logical and physical databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to modernize government missions. This role drives data-centric solutions and influences enterprise architecture.
What You'll Do20
- 1Maintain and continuously update architecture product inventory
- 2Analyze business processes to refine data sources for management analytics visualization
- 3Design implement and optimize secure efficient logical and physical databases
- 4Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting outputs summarization needs and data formats
- 5Determine and specify detailed logical and mathematical operations for programs and personnel in data systems
- 6Assess project requirements to create new programs or modify existing ones
- 7Participate in scope and requirement meetings to clarify project needs and limitations
- 8Review workflow charts and database management procedures to ensure alignment with system tasks
- 9Develop comprehensive data models logical access descriptions and physical database specifications
- 10Create documentation reports and manuals supporting new or upgraded systems
- 11Establish procedures to detect and correct data-quality issues develop governance policies and controls
- 12Ensure privacy controls are properly enforced across all data processes
- 13Implement data curation practices to align data lifespan with mission requirements
- 14Seek manage and integrate spatial data classifying and unclassified connecting it to mission datasets
- 15Design methodologies for data movement storage pipelines ETL ELT structured unstructured data
- 16Support data exploration anomaly detection transformation and merging into unified data stores
- 17Conduct data mining and retrieval activities enable data visualization using multiple tools and platforms
- 18Provide outstanding customer support partner with analytical units to translate challenges into solutions
- 19Lead Integrated Product Team sessions collaborate with internal external partners to advance data management excellence
- 20Requirement gathering and execution of architectural responsibilities
Requirements15
- 1U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance
- 2Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Information Assurance MIS or related discipline
- 37+ years experience as Data Architect
- 4Strong written verbal communication skills
- 5Highly collaborative teamwork orientation work ethic
- 6Ability to thrive in fast-paced evolving environments
- 7Solution-driven mindset resolving complex technical challenges
- 8Ability to work effectively with limited oversight
- 9DoD 8570/8140 compliance Security+ CE CASP CE
- 10Deep mastery of DoDAF and UAF frameworks
- 11Proficiency with enterprise modeling tools ARIS Visio MagicDraw Vantage Army 365 Power Platform
- 12Experience integrating work with Enterprise Architects and Data Scientists
- 13Hands-on experience with Azure AWS or other cloud platforms
- 14Understanding of DISA STIG ACAS Nessus DoD cybersecurity guidelines
- 15Background in software development or database programming
