Overview
Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigations seeks a Special Investigations Unit Investigator specializing in New York Labor Law construction investigations. This role involves independently investigating suspected fraudulent insurance claims across various coverages while collaborating with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will lead strategic investigations and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
What You'll Do7
- 1Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims for workers’ compensation and other coverages
- 2Gather information through interviews research and client collaboration
- 3Create and maintain detailed documentation for investigations and audits
- 4Produce professional reports memos and letters
- 5Run appropriate database indices and verify result accuracy
- 6Develop strategic plans to achieve assignment objectives
- 7Lead investigations ensuring thorough documentation and client communication
Requirements9
- 1One or more of the following: Experience with New York Labor Laws N.Y. §240 N.Y. §241 and N.Y. §200 Construction Investigative experience
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice
- 3High school diploma or higher with minimum five years of professional law enforcement experience
- 4Proper private investigator licensing in the state where work is completed
- 5Post offer ability to complete Allied Universal Investigations training
- 6Minimum five years of experience conducting complex insurance investigations
- 7Proficiency in anti-fraud laws insurance regulations and compliance standards
- 8Ability to type forty plus words per minute with minimal errors
- 9Flexibility to work varied irregular hours including weekends and holidays
Salary Insight
$67 - $83k per year
