What You'll Do10
- 1Support Claims Department investigating suspicious property damage and injury claims
- 2Conduct recorded statements and examinations under oath as required
- 3Perform field work and document claim files while communicating in writing
- 4Provide office training to identify suspicious files and maintain compliance with policies
- 5Report suspicious claims to the department of insurance per statutory requirements
- 6Utilize claims systems and attend industry meetings to track communication trends
- 7Complete monthly investigator reports and participate in team meetings
- 8Attend roundtable meetings and maintain professional networks with SIU and law enforcement
- 9Meet individual performance goals and interact diplomatically with colleagues
- 10Travel as needed and hold a Florida Adjuster’s license before start date
Requirements5
- 1Formal education or equivalent work experience with a Bachelor's degree
- 25 years of special investigation experience including casualty and PIP claims
- 3Proficiency with Spark and Airflow for ETL pipeline development
- 4Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- 5Valid Florida Adjuster’s license prior to employment start
