
Site Reliability Engineer, Production Support
Overview
You will own production support for enterprise systems across Dallas, Pittsburgh, or Cleveland, ensuring uptime and rapid incident resolution at scale. You will join a team of engineers focused on system management and analytics, reporting directly to technical leads. This role centers on client-facing reliability, where you propose improvements and drive stability from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Drive production support activities, resolving incidents and minimizing downtime across 10+ critical systems.
- 2Implement system monitoring with analytics tools, tracking performance and alerting on anomalies.
- 3Lead technical assessments and propose reliability improvements within your first 90 days.
- 4Collaborate with client-facing teams to align support SLAs and communication protocols.
- 5Automate routine operational tasks using scripting and Python to reduce manual effort.
- 6Document incident root causes and maintain runbooks for repeatable resolution.
- 7Coach junior engineers on production best practices and incident response.
- 8Coordinate with development teams to deploy code changes and validate system health.
Requirements7
- 110+ years of IT experience with a focus on production support and reliability.
- 22-3 years in business analytics and technical lead roles.
- 3Solid understanding of production support activities with client-facing experience.
- 4Knowledge of system management and support analytic tools, including Splunk or New Relic.
- 5Demonstrated ability to propose technical solutions and drive initiatives.
- 6Self-initiative and detail-oriented, bringing new ideas to improve system performance.
- 7Local to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Dallas with 5 days onsite availability.
