Site Lead, Field Service & Customer Operations
Overview
Site Lead role at a customer site leading a field service team to maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely maintenance and high customer satisfaction. You will work onsite for a large portion of time, coordinating daily activities and reporting to management. The position emphasizes hands on technical work, strong communication, and leadership in a safety conscious environment. You will mentor technicians, manage spare parts and documentation, and drive service quality at multiple customer sites.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead field service technicians to meet production schedules and quality standards
- 2Coordinate shift schedules and workload distribution at the site
- 3Respond to emergencies and non scheduled calls within target response times
- 4Maintain field service logs, part inventories, and service documentation
- 5Mentor junior technicians and drive adherence to Field Service procedures
- 6Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
- 7Order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time
- 8Assess equipment performance and propose improvements based on field data
- 9Participate in site surveys, pilot programs, and special projects
- 10Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental policies and export controls
Requirements10
- 1Engineering degree in related field
- 2>8 years work experience in electrical or mechanical field service
- 3Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervision experience
- 4Networking or systems integration certification preferred (A+, CCNA, or similar)
- 5Excellent communication skills and customer focus
- 6Willingness to travel and work on call or after hours
- 7Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to learn specialized software
- 8Linux experience preferred
- 9Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy equipment with assistance
- 10Background check (TSA eQIP) required

$73 - $133k per year
