ShopRite seeks a motivated Appy Deli Clerk to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining a clean and efficient department. The ideal candidate will uphold Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency in all interactions and operations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Use slicing machines and related equipment to prepare deli items
- 2Replenish and organize Appy/Deli products according to company standards
- 3Perform sales presentations and maintain attractive product displays
- 4Check refrigeration equipment and report any failures immediately
- 5Operate all departmental machinery safely and follow maintenance protocols
- 6Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- 7Monitor inventory levels and process price changes as directed
- 8Assist with loading unloaded trucks and transporting heavy merchandise
- 9Follow HAZCOM program and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- 10Maintain accurate records of product receipts and inventory discrepancies
- 11Adhere to all local state and federal regulations for food safety and workplace safety
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience with food service equipment and inventory management
- 23-5 seasons of retail experience preferred
- 3CPC Card certification required
- 4BCBA certification optional but beneficial
- 5AWS Certified relevant to cloud-based inventory systems
- 6Spark and Airflow proficiency for data analysis tasks
- 7Physical ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- 8Valid driver's license for truck unloading duties
- 9Strong communication skills for customer interaction
- 10Ability to work flexible hours including overtime
- 11Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment
