Overview
Own shipping, receiving, and inventory movements for aerospace production at a leading aviation company. You will ensure materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered in a regulated environment supporting production schedules and quality standards. Work with receiving, shipping, and inventory management teams to maintain traceability and accuracy. This role emphasizes hands-on logistics, safety, and compliance in a complex supply chain.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage shipping, receiving, and inventory activities to support production
- 2Record material movements and customer transactions in SAP to ensure traceability
- 3Handle incoming materials from inspection to put-away using forklifts and reach trucks
- 4Package and prepare outgoing shipments with attention to packaging and documentation
- 5Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to support stockroom accuracy
- 6Collaborate with logistics, manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issues
- 7Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and aerospace requirements
- 8Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and operate relevant warehouse equipment
- 9Conduct data entry and maintain records with high accuracy
- 10Support stockroom operations and contribute to timely material flow throughout the shift
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum of 2 years of shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience
- 3Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- 4Experience operating a Reach Truck
- 5Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 6Ability to perform data entry accurately and maintain records
- 7Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- 8Strong teamwork and communication skills
- 9Experience in SAP or other inventory/database receiving systems (preferred)
- 10Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or highly regulated environments (preferred)
