Shift Supervisor, Starbucks Licensed Store
Overview
You will own the floor of a licensed Starbucks store, leading a team of up to 8 baristas through each shift. You'll drive sales growth, uphold Starbucks standards, and deliver legendary guest service. This role reports to the store manager and works closely with cross-functional teams. You'll gain hands-on experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment with opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead a team of up to 8 baristas during scheduled shifts, delegating tasks and ensuring coverage.
- 2Deliver legendary guest service by modeling Starbucks standards and resolving customer issues.
- 3Drive consistent sales growth by upselling products and maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.
- 4Operate the floor to support daily store operations, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
- 5Train and develop baristas on drink recipes, Starbucks procedures, and customer engagement.
- 6Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the management team.
- 7Enforce food safety and cleanliness standards, maintaining a spotless work environment.
- 8Adapt to fluctuating customer traffic, adjusting team deployment in real-time.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in a supervisory or lead role in food service or retail.
- 21+ years of guest relations experience in a high-volume setting.
- 3Prior Starbucks experience preferred.
- 4Part-time availability, including both weekend days and weekdays as needed.
- 5Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment and lead by example.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 7Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
