Sheet Metal Team Lead 2nd Shift Miami FHP Manufacturing
Overview
We seek a proactive Sheet Metal Team Lead to lead and coordinate daily operations on the 2nd Shift. This hands-on leadership role reports to the Area Supervisor and involves mentoring staff driving operational efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will organize team activities collaborate on priorities and serve as a trainer applying Business Process Standards principles.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and design sheet metal processes using Python and AWS
- 2Lead and scale production activities for a team of 10–15 workers
- 3Drive continuous improvement through CPC Card methodologies
- 4Conduct inspections and functional tests to identify and correct defects
- 5Maintain safety protocols and promote proper material handling practices
- 6Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- 7Utilize manual and power tools to fabricate and assemble components
- 8Mentor new hires and cross-train existing staff members
- 9Apply Kubernetes and React knowledge to integrate tooling solutions
- 10Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to prioritize daily tasks
- 11Ensure compliance with quality standards across all outputs
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience building sheet metal pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams in manufacturing environments
- 3High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4Proficiency in English reading writing and communication
- 5Ability to work overtime and flexibly switch between departments
- 6Strong understanding of BCBA certification requirements
- 7Experience with WMS systems and Lean manufacturing techniques
