SharePoint Migration Engineer, Microsoft 365 & Banking Experience
Overview
Own large-scale migration of collaboration platforms into Microsoft 365 with a focus on banking environments. Lead analysis, planning, and execution of migrations across multiple locations including hybrid work models. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and smooth transitions. This role is a long term contract in a digital workplace transformation initiative.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build migration plans and runbooks for SharePoint to Microsoft 365 migrations
- 2Design and execute data/content migration strategies to ensure integrity and security
- 3Lead cross functional teams to coordinate cutovers and minimize user disruption
- 4Ship progress reports and dashboards showing migration milestones and risk mitigation
- 5Own validation, testing, and user acceptance to ensure success criteria are met
- 6Scale migration activities across multiple sites including NY, PA, FL, and TN
- 7Debug issues during migrations and apply remediation quickly
- 8Drive adherence to banking regulatory and security requirements
- 9Collaborate with security, compliance, and architecture teams to maintain governance
Requirements5
- 15+ years building migrations or large scale content migration projects in banking environments
- 2Experience with SharePoint to Microsoft 365 migrations and related tooling
- 3Strong understanding of information governance, security, and regulatory requirements in banking
- 4Hybrid work experience and willingness to travel per project needs
- 5Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders
Salary Insight
$55 - $60k per year
