SharePoint Architect, Enterprise Collaboration & Governance
Overview
Own and shape enterprise collaboration architecture for Microsoft 365 at scale in a contract setting. You will lead design and governance for SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services across a large organization. You will partner with security, compliance, and IT operations to deliver metadata-driven document management and governance models. This role is hands-on and policy influenced, with a focus on secure, scalable information architecture.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build enterprise information architecture and permission models for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services
- 2Design governance frameworks for compliance, security, and data retention across Microsoft 365
- 3Lead metadata-driven document management solutions and taxonomy strategies
- 4Collaborate with security and IT to implement Entra ID, Purview, and Graph-based access controls
- 5Govern and optimize Microsoft 365 configurations in high-availability, enterprise environments
Requirements5
- 110+ years of experience with Microsoft collaboration platforms
- 2Strong focus on enterprise SharePoint architecture and governance
- 3Proven expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft 365 Governance
- 4Hands-on experience building secure, scalable information architecture and metadata-driven solutions
- 5Strong background in compliance frameworks and permission models
