Server, Churrascaria Fine Dining
Overview
You will own the guest experience at Fogo de Chão, delivering warm welcomes and attentive service in a high-volume churrascaria. You will work alongside a tight-knit team of servers, cashiers, and churrasqueiros, managing the full table cycle from greeting to dessert. 3-5 seasons of table service experience sets you apart, but your genuine hospitality and Deixa Comigo attitude matter more. This role rewards hustle with $16.37 hourly plus tips, plus benefits for full-time and part-time team members.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal welcome, then pull chairs and lay napkins to set the tone.
- 2Present menus and answer questions about menu items, prep methods, and the continuous table side serving concept.
- 3Take and serve beverage and dessert orders, and communicate special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros.
- 4Place orders with cashiers for processing and payment, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- 5Assist other servers in their sections during peak rushes to keep service flowing.
- 6Complete opening or closing side work, including restocking and cleaning stations.
- 7Uphold Fogo's values of teamwork, integrity, and Deixa Comigo in every interaction.
- 8Handle cash and credit transactions through the POS system with accuracy.
- 9Maintain a clean and organized dining area, clearing tables and resetting quickly.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of server or waiter experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably with table side service.
- 2Ability to transport objects up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- 3Must work at a quick pace, handling multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- 4Must be available to work weekends and holidays, including evening shifts.
- 5Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members clearly.
- 6Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately.
- 7Food handler certification or ServSafe is a plus, but not required.
- 8Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol in this location.
