Overview
You will own the full guest experience at Fogo de Chão, a renowned churrascaria in New York, serving up to 200 guests per shift. In a high-energy, team-driven environment, you will guide guests through the Churrasco dining concept, anticipate their needs, and ensure seamless service from welcome to farewell. You'll collaborate with Churrasqueiros and fellow servers, mastering the table-side serving style. This role offers immediate hiring, flexible schedules, and a supportive team culture.
What You'll Do8
- 1Welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, setting the tone for the meal.
- 2Pull out chairs and lay napkins, then present menus and answer questions about menu items and preparation methods.
- 3Take and serve beverage and dessert orders, communicating special requests for meats to the Churrasqueiros.
- 4Place orders with cashiers for processing and payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- 5Assist other servers in their sections during peak times to maintain smooth service.
- 6Complete opening or closing shift duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.
- 7Maintain knowledge of the continuous table-side serving concept to educate guests and enhance their experience.
- 8Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer refills, extra items, or attention to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements6
- 1Must be able to transport objects up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced setting.
- 2Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- 3Prior serving experience is a plus but not required; we train on the Churrasco style.
- 4Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with Churrasqueiros and fellow servers.
- 5Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- 6Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US.
