Senior WebLogic DevOps Engineer
Overview
Owns the deployment, configuration, and support of WebLogic environments for customer-facing applications at AgreeYa Solutions. Manages middleware infrastructure across Linux and Windows platforms, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborates with development and operations teams to automate workflows using Ansible and Jenkins. This role stands out for its hybrid work model and direct impact on production stability.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement WebLogic domain configurations for new applications and services.
- 2Automate middleware provisioning using Ansible playbooks and Jenkins pipelines.
- 3Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve WebLogic crashes or hangs.
- 4Coordinate with application teams to deploy code and manage JMS queues and JDBC data sources.
- 5Patch and upgrade WebLogic versions, applying security fixes and maintaining compliance.
- 6Document standard operating procedures and runbooks for middleware operations.
- 7Support on-call rotation for production incidents and participate in root cause analysis.
- 8Migrate existing applications to new WebLogic clusters with minimal downtime.
Requirements7
- 15+ years administering WebLogic in enterprise environments.
- 23+ years experience with Linux and shell scripting.
- 32+ years using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- 42+ years building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- 53+ years experience with JMS, JDBC, and HTTP session replication.
- 6Understanding of SSL certificates and TLS protocols.
- 7Experience with WebLogic performance tuning and troubleshooting thread dumps.
