Overview
Brighton Jones seeks a Senior Trust & Estate Manager to lead Family Office legal support and trust administration. What You'll Do11
- 1Partner with Director of Estate Planning to coordinate estate planning and legal services for ultra-high net worth clients
- 2Analyze estate plans and trust documents to identify planning opportunities and gaps
- 3Assist with targeted legal research and transfer tax modeling
- 4Coordinate with clients outside legal advisors to draft legal documents
- 5Proactively identify legal needs aligned with clients’ personal charitable and financial goals
- 6Facilitate communication across legal advisory and operational teams
- 7Support trust onboarding and account setup for new clients
- 8Manage ongoing trust administration including distributions and beneficiary reporting
- 9Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information
- 10Partner with compliance stakeholders to meet fiduciary and regulatory requirements
- 11Improve workflow systems for trust and estate legal service tracking
Requirements11
- 16+ years experience with high-net worth clients in family office private client services or trust administration
- 2Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training
- 3Experience in trust company or corporate trustee environments
- 4Ability to interpret and translate trust estate documents into operational actions
- 5Strong knowledge of trust structures estate planning concepts and fiduciary duties
- 6Proven track record supporting trust administration processes
- 7Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
- 8Clear written communication for complex legal concepts
- 9High emotional intelligence and discretion when handling sensitive client matters
- 10Experience with ultra-high net worth family dynamics
