Senior Tennis Instructor, Youth Programs & Coaching
Overview
You will lead beginner tennis programs for children ages 5-10 across Bay Area schools, managing groups of 8-16 students. You will teach classes using provided lesson plans and equipment, creating a fun and positive learning environment. Working with a supportive team, you will manage attendance, communicate with parents, and ensure safety. What You'll Do8
- 1Teach tennis classes using company lesson plans for groups of 8-16 students
- 2Create a safe and positive learning environment for children ages 5-10
- 3Manage student sign-in/out and take attendance for each session
- 4Communicate professionally with parents and school staff
- 5Attend a 2-day unpaid training and shadowing session (2-3 hours per session)
- 6Take class photos for program documentation and website use
- 7Deliver Saturday or weekend tennis clinics as scheduled
- 8Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and skill levels
Requirements10
- 1At least 19 years old
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3Playing or coaching experience preferred but not required
- 4USPTA or PTR certification is a plus
- 5Strong communication and classroom management skills
- 6Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- 7Must be authorized to work in the United States
- 8Must pass TB test and Live Scan background check before employment
- 9Must provide a photo and short biography for the company website
- 10Must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work
