Overview
Skylo is a senior technical recruiter based in Mountain View. This is a 6 month FTC role focusing on full-cycle hiring for high-impact engineering teams. You will partner with hiring managers to improve recruitment systems and drive pipeline velocity.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact roles across Engineering Cloud Space
- 2Partner deeply with hiring managers on every search
- 3Identify and improve pieces of the hiring system
- 4Build AI-powered workflows using Claude and other tools
- 5Surface market insights and track KPIs
- 6Champion a candidate experience reflecting Skylo's mission
- 7Improve interview rubrics and sourcing methodologies
- 8Close complex offers with mission-driven communication
- 9Collaborate with partners across satellite communications domains
- 10Maintain bias toward proactive improvement
- 11Familiarity with Ashby Metaview is a plus
Requirements10
- 1CS degree or comparable technical background
- 23-5 years of in-house technical recruiting at a startup or scale-up
- 3Demonstrated partnership with hiring managers
- 4Track record of process improvement initiatives
- 5Native fluency with AI tools like Claude
- 6Experience sourcing talent in software hardware and satellite communications
- 7Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 8Strong communication and negotiation skills
- 9Understanding of global connectivity solutions
