Senior Systems Administrator - IV&V Lead
Overview
Lead Independent Verification and Validation efforts for network systems infrastructure projects. Ensure all network systems meet rigorous operational security and performance standards. Collaborate with engineering operations and project management teams to verify deliverables align with requirements and industry best practices.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead the planning coordination and execution of IV&V activities for network infrastructure projects
- 2Develop and maintain IV&V processes checklists and documentation to ensure comprehensive coverage and traceability
- 3Review system architectures configurations and deployments to verify compliance with requirements and standards
- 4Conduct detailed assessments audits and testing of network components routers switches firewalls etc to validate functionality security and performance
- 5Identify gaps risks and non-conformities and provide actionable recommendations for remediation
- 6Prepare and present clear comprehensive IV&V reports to stakeholders highlighting findings risks and suggested improvements
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
- 8Stay current with emerging technologies industry standards and best practices in network infrastructure and IV&V
- 9Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading systems administration roles in network infrastructure environments
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4AWS Certified relevant experience
- 55+ years designing and implementing secure network solutions
- 63-5 years performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- 72+ years managing large-scale network migrations
- 8Advanced degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 9Proven track record of delivering high availability systems with zero downtime incidents
- 10Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills
