Overview
GRVTY seeks a Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to lead data science initiatives supporting complex analytics challenges. This role involves developing operational prototypes using advanced data science techniques across behavioral geo-temporal social and content analysis within scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate will research machine learning and statistics advancements for mission-critical problems. Telework options up to two days weekly are available.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and build distributed batch stream processing solutions leveraging Ray Spark Flink Beam or similar frameworks
- 2Develop scalable data pipelines utilizing Apache Accumulo MongoDB ScyllaDB or cloud-native alternatives
- 3Implement distributed storage architectures employing HDFS S3 or equivalent object storage systems
- 4Lead requirements analysis and design for object-oriented systems
- 5Deploy containerized applications on Kubernetes AWS Azure or Google Cloud platforms
- 6Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes using dynamic prompt engineering with OpenAI Chat Completions API
- 7Ship production-ready software features within ninety days focusing on measurable outcomes
- 8Drive innovation through continuous integration of emerging machine learning methodologies
Requirements10
- 1Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph verification
- 2Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 3Seven years of experience with Java C++ or Python
- 4Five years of experience with Windows or UNIX/Linux development environments
- 5One year of experience with database technologies including Accumulo MongoDB ScyllaDB or cloud databases
- 6One year of experience with distributed processing frameworks like Ray Spark or Flink
- 7One year of proficiency with object storage solutions such as S3 or Azure Blob Storage
- 8Experience with Kubernetes AWS Azure or Google Cloud services
- 9Preferred: Claude Sonnet 4 certification
- 10Strong background in statistical modeling and machine learning applications
