What You'll Do11

  • 1Design and implement multi-objective optimization strategies for large-scale distributed decision making and resource scheduling
  • 2Develop weapons target assignment algorithms and motion planning solutions for space vehicle fleets
  • 3Advance research in low-SWaP optimal control and tactical behavior management
  • 4Create high-performance software modules ready for mid-to-high TRL insertions
  • 5Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomy solutions on real-world platforms
  • 6Deploy autonomy capabilities to space vehicles and analyze mission logs for performance validation
  • 7Contribute to autonomy roadmaps by prototyping novel algorithms and identifying capability gaps
  • 8Travel approximately 10-15% of the year to various locations
  • 9Lead R&D efforts that evolve into multi-year programs
  • 10Solve complex problems across diverse programs blending traditional control systems with modern optimization techniques
  • 11Obtain SECRET clearance or higher

Requirements11

  • 1Proficiency in C++ and Python with RTOS experience
  • 2Background in control systems motion planning optimization and distributed decision-making
  • 3Experience with unmanned systems particularly in space domain
  • 4Familiarity with simulation tools like AFSIM NGTS or similar environments
  • 5Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
  • 6Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
  • 7Ability to secure SECRET clearance or equivalent authorization
  • 8Experience supporting integration events customer demos and live exercises
  • 9Preferred: Aerospace domain experience across multiple environments
  • 10Familiarity with DoD/government programs and collaborative robotics frameworks
  • 11Hands-on experience with reference checks and background verification
