Senior SAP Concur Functional Consultant, Travel & Expense
Overview
Lead the end-to-end assessment, design, configuration, testing, and rollout of SAP Concur solutions for a global enterprise. Own the functional roadmap across Concur Travel, Expense, Request, Expense Pay, and Corporate Card integrations. Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and integration teams to align business needs. Your decisions shape the user experience for thousands of travelers and approvers. This contract role demands deep functional expertise and a bias for action.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assess the current SAP Concur landscape and migration roadmap, then design the target-state architecture.
- 2Configure Concur modules, including Travel, Expense, Request, Expense Pay, and Corporate Card integrations.
- 3Own the integration design with SAP S/4HANA, Workday, and other enterprise systems.
- 4Drive the testing lifecycle: unit, integration, UAT, and regression, and resolve defects.
- 5Lead stakeholder workshops to capture requirements and translate them into Concur solutions.
- 6Guide the rollout to multiple user groups, ensuring adoption and compliance.
- 7Document functional designs, configuration guides, and test scripts.
- 8Troubleshoot complex issues post-go-live and improve system performance.
Requirements8
- 115+ years of functional consulting experience, with 10+ years focused on SAP Concur.
- 2Deep expertise across Concur modules: Travel, Expense, Request, Expense Pay, and Corporate Card.
- 3Hands-on configuration experience in Concur and its Business Intelligence reporting.
- 4Strong understanding of SAP integrations, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP FICO.
- 5Proven experience with SAP Concur implementation methodologies and best practices.
- 6Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across finance, HR, and IT.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas or as per client requirement.
- 8Experience with data migration and legacy system retirement is a plus.
