Senior React Developer, DC (Onsite)
Overview
You will own the front-end architecture for enterprise web applications at SDH Systems in Washington, DC, working onsite. You will join a team of senior engineers building complex user interfaces with React.js. You will drive the migration to modern ES6 patterns and state management with Redux. This role offers direct collaboration with stakeholders and a chance to shape the technical direction of a key government project.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and maintain responsive user interfaces with React.js and Redux for enterprise applications.
- 2Design and implement reusable component libraries to support rapid feature delivery.
- 3Optimize application performance by profiling with Chrome DevTools and reducing re-renders.
- 4Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and manage state with RxJS.
- 5Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on JavaScript best practices.
- 6Ship high-quality code from day one, focusing on the first 90 days of feature delivery.
- 7Drive adoption of TypeScript for type safety and maintainability.
- 8Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards in all deliverables.
Requirements7
- 116 years of enterprise web development experience, with a focus on JavaScript.
- 23+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and React Hooks.
- 33+ years using Redux for state management in complex applications.
- 43+ years working with RxJS, Node.js, and ES6/ES5.
- 5Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6Experience with Webpack and module bundling setups.
- 7Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling.
