Senior Process Engineer, Semiconductor Materials & Purification
Overview
Own and scale high volume chemical manufacturing processes for ultrapure solvents and purification techniques at our Mesa facility. Lead process development from pilot to high-volume production focusing on advanced purification such as nano-filtration and distillation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align raw materials, packaging, and SQC objectives while driving continuous improvement and new product development.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and lead process engineering development for ultrapure solvents focusing on nano‑filtration and distillation
- 2Design and execute DOE to understand effects of raw materials on finished product quality
- 3Analyze SPC performance and trend data to drive product quality improvements
- 4Coordinate with customers and suppliers to develop process technology roadmaps and implement scalable solutions
- 5Generate Engineering Change Notices and document formal process controls across manufacturing steps
- 6Lead cross‑functional CIP and NPD projects from pilot to HVM
- 7Document procedures for process of record and update work instructions
- 8Conduct hazard assessments and support safety, health and environmental programs
- 9Collaborate on packaging standards and materials selection to ensure product integrity
- 10Prepare technical reports and shelf-life studies for new and existing products
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- 29+ years of experience in high volume chemical manufacturing and purification processes
- 3Hands-on expertise with distillation and filtration technologies
- 4Strong background in Six Sigma, DOE, ANOVA and statistical methods
- 5Experience with process simulation and pilot production
- 6Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
- 7Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
