Senior MLOps Engineer at NVIDIA
Overview
Design and operate end‑to‑end data pipelines for autonomous driving at scale. This individual will own architecture and operations for cloud pipelines processing multimodal sensor data. Responsibilities include scaling systems and solving cross‑team problems. This role differs by focusing on high‑volume sensor data pipelines for AV programs and customer‑facing autonomy features.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design, build, and operate data pipelines supporting NVIDIA’s autonomous driving technology from L2 through L4
- 2Own architecture, implementation, and operations for cloud pipelines ingesting and processing sensor data
- 3Build observable MLOps systems for model training and continuous evaluation at AV scale
- 4Translate customer and program requirements into production systems with perception ML and data labeling teams
- 5Set technical direction and roadmaps while delivering against program milestones
- 6Contribute through design reviews, implementation, debugging, code reviews, and mentorship
- 7Work across Python C++ distributed systems cloud infrastructure CI/CD and data platforms
- 8Solve problems across teams and scale systems to meet customer needs
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s or equivalent experience, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field
- 28+ years of engineering experience designing and delivering production distributed systems
- 3Technical leadership as a senior individual contributor delivering large‑scale systems
- 4Proficiency in Python and C++ for system‑level performance critical implementation
- 5Experience operating end‑to‑end data or ML pipelines for reliability scale and observability
- 6Prior experience in autonomous vehicles robotics computer vision deep learning or GPU‑accelerated computing
- 7Strong communication skills aligning collaborators and driving execution across functions
- 8Background in distributed cloud systems workflow orchestration and large‑scale CI/CD
- 9Familiarity with 3D geometry perception pipelines or data generation from simulated environments
