Overview
Lead mechanical development for next generation EUV light source within reticle inspection product line. Manage multidisciplinary team delivering precision hardware in extreme environments. Set technical direction and drive design reviews to meet schedule cost and quality targets. Partner across technology optics systems production development machine controls manufacturing and service to enhance performance reliability and serviceability.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead and develop a high performing mechanical engineering team
- 2Own mechanical system architecture and delivery for EUV source subsystems
- 3Drive rigorous design review and release discipline
- 4Partner with Technology Optics Systems Production Development Machine Controls Manufacturing and Service to improve cost performance manufacturability reliability and serviceability
- 5Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex subsystem issues
- 6Implement design improvements that increase availability and uptime
- 7Manage supplier technical engagement for precision parts and subassemblies
- 8Embed safety by design into mechanical solutions and enable people machine safety service/production tooling
- 9Occasionally travel domestically internationally to support build validation and customer site readiness
Requirements5
- 1B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred) or equivalent
- 210+ years of experience developing complex hardware capital equipment
- 35+ years of people management experience leading engineers through concept to release
- 4Expertise in vacuum/UHV design precision mechanisms rotating machinery air bearings thermal structural design contamination aware mechanical design design for manufacturability serviceability
- 5Strong cross functional communication and leadership skills ability to drive alignment across technical stakeholders and suppliers
