Senior Manager People & Organization East Central Chanel
Overview
The Senior Manager, People & Organization – East & Central leads HR processes for Chanel boutiques in Washington DC and surrounding regions. This role drives inclusive culture, talent development, and performance management while partnering with boutique leadership to enhance employee engagement and organizational success.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement people strategies that align with boutique goals and support business outcomes
- 2Partner with BLTs to conduct career discussions and provide organizational structure input
- 3Guide compensation and performance review processes with data-driven guidance
- 4Lead recruitment efforts including sourcing strategies and interview event coordination
- 5Manage employee relations through investigations and policy consultations
- 6Ensure compliance with federal state employment practices and internal procedures
- 7Analyze workforce trends to inform strategic decisions
- 8Develop leadership capabilities through onsite presence and cross-boutique support
- 9Foster wellbeing and inclusion through direct engagement and structured programs
- 10Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on upskilling initiatives and training programs
- 11Maintain strong relationships with business leaders to drive operational excellence
Requirements6
- 15+ years building HR strategies in retail or wholesale environments
- 2Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3Proven experience in employee relations and performance management
- 4Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
- 5Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
- 6Commitment to diversity inclusion principles and collaborative leadership style
