What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct advanced legal research on global data privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, to inform compliance strategies.
- 2Draft and review agreements, policies, and other legal documents to ensure alignment with privacy regulations.
- 3Monitor regulatory developments and update internal stakeholders on changes affecting data privacy and legal operations.
- 4Optimize legal workflows and manage legal technology tools, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
- 5Support contract lifecycle management from intake to execution, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
- 6Collaborate with IT, Security, and Product teams to implement and maintain data governance frameworks.
- 7Oversee the lifecycle of compliance policies and corporate records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Requirements5
- 14+ years of experience in legal operations or paralegal roles, preferably in SaaS or highly regulated sectors.
- 2Demonstrated expertise in data privacy, legal research, and corporate entity management.
- 3Strong communication skills and discretion in handling confidential information.
- 4Tech-savvy mindset with ability to adopt and manage legal technology tools.
- 5Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.
