Senior Java Full Stack Developer, Microservices & Kubernetes
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of full-stack Java solutions powering business-critical applications at scale. Onsite in Dallas, you will join an IT team that ships production-grade software with Java, Spring Framework, and Kubernetes. You will drive system architecture decisions, mentor peers, and deploy resilient microservices on Docker and Kubernetes. This role offers direct ownership of technical roadmaps in a growing organization.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and build scalable full-stack features using Java, Spring Framework, and React within your first 90 days.
- 2Ship microservices deployed on Docker and Kubernetes with robust API design and RESTful Services.
- 3Optimize data persistence across MS SQL Server and NoSQL Databases to meet low-latency queries.
- 4Drive test-driven development with JUnit and Mockito to ensure high code coverage.
- 5Lead system design reviews and enforce best practices for Linux production environments.
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum and GitHub to deliver quarterly releases.
- 7Implement event-driven patterns to decouple services and improve system resilience.
- 8Automate CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles with Kubernetes and Docker.
- 9Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring uptime for critical business workflows.
Requirements8
- 15+ years building full-stack applications with Java and Spring Framework.
- 2Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- 3Proven expertise in designing and deploying Microservices on Docker and Kubernetes.
- 4Strong background in API Design and Web Services including RESTful Services.
- 5Solid knowledge of Linux for application deployment and troubleshooting.
- 6Demonstrated use of Test-Driven Development and System Design principles.
- 7Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture and Scrum methodologies.
- 8Experience with Node.js, J2EE, or GitHub is a plus.
