Senior Java Full Stack Developer, Angular & NodeJS
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of web applications built on Java, Angular, and NodeJS, serving a high-volume user base at a Dallas-based tech firm. You will join a collaborative team of senior engineers, working hands-on with MongoDB and OpenShift to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions. This role centers on modernizing deployment pipelines and driving AWS infrastructure efficiency, offering the chance to lead technical initiatives from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build responsive web applications using Java, Angular, and NodeJS, delivering new features within your first 90 days.
- 2Design scalable data storage solutions with MongoDB, optimizing query performance and data integrity.
- 3Set up and manage containerized deployments on OpenShift, ensuring high availability and resource efficiency.
- 4Implement TDD practices across the codebase, writing unit and integration tests for every new module.
- 5Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for AWS, reducing deployment time and automating release processes.
- 6Drive DevOps automation, including infrastructure monitoring and alerting, to maintain system reliability.
- 7Scale AWS infrastructure to handle traffic spikes, using auto-scaling and load balancing strategies.
- 8Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in the application stack, improving response times and throughput.
Requirements8
- 110+ years developing full stack applications with Java, Angular, and NodeJS.
- 2Deep experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines.
- 3Hands-on expertise with OpenShift for container orchestration and deployment management.
- 4Strong knowledge of TDD and testing frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- 5Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- 6At least 5 years managing AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- 7Experience with DevOps automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
- 8Track record of optimizing application performance through profiling and code tuning.
